NDF is partnering with Nordic organisations in arranging events for presenting its financing opportunities available especially for the private sector.

NDF’s flagship challenge funds, the Nordic Climate Facility (NCF) and the Environment and Energy Partnership Africa (EEP Africa)  will be featured in a series of road show events around the Nordic region during the month of May. Both funds offer early-stage project financing for projects with a climate focus.

The schedule below presents the events where NDF will be participating. By clicking on the links you will find more information on the events, including agendas and instructions on how to register.

NCF is a challenge fund set up in 2009 to finance early-stage innovative climate change projects. Financing from NCF is allocated on a competitive basis with thematic calls for proposals arranged annually. The next NCF call with the theme Testing the business viability of climate solutions will open for applications in August. Application guidelines will be published in June on the NCF webpage.

EEP Africa is a multi-donor trust fund providing early stage grant and catalytic financing to innovative clean energy projects, technologies and business models in Southern and East Africa. EEP Africa is hosted and managed by NDF. Since 2010, it has received funding from Austria, Finland, NDF and the UK. The next EEP Africa call for proposals is planned to open on May 15. Interested project developers should Save the date and check back regularly at www.eepafrica.org for more information.

Our sister organisation Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO) will also be participating in the events in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Helsinki to present the financing opportunities they provide, including the Nordic Project Fund (Nopef), which finances feasibility studies for internationalisation.
