NDF signed a new grant agreement with the Government of Zambia to strengthen climate resilience in the rural water sector.

Under the agreement, NDF committed  EUR 2.25 million over the next three years to support the development, field testing and integration of climate resilient planning and tools in rural water supply and sanitation in Zambia’s Western Province.

NDF hosted a side event on Sustainable Forestry: Providing Clean Energy and Gender-Sensitive Development. The event shared experiences of the Sustainable and Participatory Energy Management Program (PROGEDE II) in Senegal co-funded by the Nordic Development Fund and the World Bank.

Climate Finance in Practice - concrete results from over 50 projects

The first African Development Bank Transport Forum takes place on November 26-27, 2015 at the headquarters of the African Development Bank, in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, under the theme “Sustainable Transport for an Integrated Africa.”

NDF Board approved EUR 5 million grant to support the Climate-smart Agriculture Fund for Latin America and the Caribbean (CSAF or Fund).

CSAF is an innovative concessional finance facility focused on promoting climate resilience and sustainable agriculture, forestry and rangeland development across the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region.
