NDF experiences in enhancing climate resilience in road transport projects, and working in collaboration with the World Bank and other multilateral development banks, were highlighted at a WB event in Washington D.C.

NDF Board approved a EUR 5.25 million grant for the second phase of the Farm Income Enhancement and Forest Conservation Project (FIEFOC 2).

FIEFOC 2 follows on the first phase of the FIEFOC project which was implemented between 2006 and 2012 and funded jointly by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and NDF.


The assignment offers challenging and varying tasks and requires a fair amount of travelling. The person will be based in NDF’s office in central Helsinki and is hired for a period of two (2) years with possibility for extension.

NDF signed a new grant agreement with the Government of Zambia to strengthen climate resilience in the rural water sector.

Under the agreement, NDF committed  EUR 2.25 million over the next three years to support the development, field testing and integration of climate resilient planning and tools in rural water supply and sanitation in Zambia’s Western Province.
