Climate Finance in Practice - concrete results from over 50 projects

A project financed by the Nordic Climate Facility has resulted in nine investments in renewable energy in Uganda. The projects have been rolled out by the Renewable Energy business Incubator (REBi) in Uganda.

NDF presents latest results on NAMA development in climate conference in Paris

Climate change is discussed in the United Nations Framework for Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of Parties during the first two weeks of December 2015 in Paris, France (COP21).

The Nordic Climate Facility (NCF) is expected to launch its sixth call for proposals in December 2015

The theme for the call will be “Green growth for sustainable livelihoods”. Preference will be given to projects in Sub-Saharan Africa.


NDF highlights climate change and transport at Africa Transport Forum 2015

The first African Development Bank Transport Forum takes place on November 26-27, 2015 at the headquarters of the African Development Bank, in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, under the theme “Sustainable Transport for an Integrated Africa.”

NDF Board approved EUR 5 million grant to support the Climate-smart Agriculture Fund for Latin America and the Caribbean (CSAF or Fund).

CSAF is an innovative concessional finance facility focused on promoting climate resilience and sustainable agriculture, forestry and rangeland development across the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region.
