Objective
The objective of the Booster grant is to share with the World Bank (WB) the costs of preparing a full Green Climate Fund (GCF) funding proposal package, including the required technical studies and assessment reports.

There will be stakeholder consultations in targeted areas and a special Gender-based Poverty Study and Vulnerability Mapping of Greater Maputo. In addition, there will be a Gender Assessment Report, Gender Action plan, Baseline Study, Performance Management Framework, Economic Analysis, and a Due diligence or Appraisal Report.

Financing
The total project cost estimate is EUR 0.635 million. NDF is providing EUR 0.5 million in a Booster grant while World Bank provides EUR 0.135 million as grant.
