ADB is seeking a consultant for corporate services in the Greater Mekong Subregion

In 2005, the GMS countries (Cambodia, PR China, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam) responded to growing concerns about the environmental impacts of rapid economic development by launching the Core Environment Program and Biodiversity Conservation Corridors Initiative, referred to as the Core Environment Program (CEP), to achieve an environmentally friendly and climate resilient GMS Economic Cooperation Program (ECP). A second phase of CEP is currently being implemented. CEP Phase II covers four thematic components: (i) Environmental Planning, Safeguards, and Monitoring; (ii) Biodiversity Landscapes and Livelihoods; (iii) Climate Change; and (iv) Institutions and Financing. Phase II is co-financed by ADB, Nordic Development Fund, Finland, Sweden and the Global Environment Facility.

ADB is now seeking corporate services to provide program management for the CEP through to December 2017.

The consultant will be responsible for the overall program management and work plan delivery of CEP, including the development and delivery of annual work plans within agreed budgets and timelines.
