NDF is seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified firms to undertake the role of Service Provider to the planned Energy and Environment Partnership (EEP) Trust Fund.

• EUR 6,991,200
• Contract duration: 4 years (48 months) commencing 1 February 2018

 

NDF hereby invites qualified consultancy firms or groups of firms to indicate interest in the role of Service Provider supporting management and implementation of the Energy and Environment Partnership (EEP) Trust Fund covering Southern and East Africa. Details on the scope of the assignment, background and evaluation criteria can be found HERE.

Since 2010 the EEP Programme with Southern and East Africa has operated as a regional challenge fund providing grants to support improvements and innovations in access to clean energy and energy security. Overall objectives are to reduce poverty, stimulate the growth of an inclusive and job creating green economy, and mitigate global climate change.

Planning is now ongoing to launch the 3rd phase of EEP as a multi-donor trust fund managed by NDF. The role of the Service Provider will be to support NDF to ensure the successful and efficient implementation of Fund activities.

A shortlist of qualified firms will be established based on an evaluation of Expressions of Interest. Selection criteria include: Proposed approach; Assignments of similar nature conducted in the last 10 years; Experience in Southern and East Africa; Availability of appropriate skills among key staff.
