The NDF activities address the climate aspects of the PROGEP that aims to improve storm water drainage and flood prevention in peri-urban Dakar for the benefit of local residents.
The objective of the proposed NDF adaptation component is to develop the capacity of relevant stakeholders in Senegal to climate-proof road infrastructure planning, design and maintenance.
The NDF contribution shall strengthen the climate change aspects of the PEPAM project, which aims at increasing access to sustainable water and sanitation services.
The World Bank financed PROGEDE II aims to increase the availability of diversified household fuels in a sustainable and gender equitable way, and to contribute to increase the income of participating communities while preserving the forest ecosystems
